POST-TREATMENT CARE

Patients can expect to experience some swelling and bruising for the first couple of days after your visit. Avoid touching and be sure to keep the treated area clean. It is recommended to sleep on your back the first few days. Avoid eating bagels, tall sandwiches, steak, chewing gum and other items that require lots of chewing or widely opening your mouth for 2 weeks. Push off any dental visits for 2 weeks post treatment. We recommend avoiding strenuous physical activity for at least 48-72 hours after the treatment. You may resume your normal activities on the same day as your visit. Tylenol, ice and arnica may be used to help with soreness and bruising.
