CHEMICAL PEELS

You'll notice brighter, more refreshed skin and a refined complexion with each peel. While one peel shows results, a series of treatments is recommended. Keep in mind that peeling doesn't necessarily determine results; you'll still enjoy the benefits of your medical grade peels, even if you don't peel.

Following a chemical peel, expect downtime ranging from a day for superficial peels to a couple of weeks for deeper ones. You may experience redness, flaking, scabbing or breakouts after your treatment. This is to be expected and usually resolves within 1 week.

For the best results, we recommend scheduling your next peel about 4-6 weeks out.

Prepare for your appointment by avoiding sun exposure, tanning beds and lasers for 2 weeks. Stop using retinoids and chemical exfoliants 7 days prior. Avoid waxing or shaving the area 3 days before. Ensure your skin is makeup-free on the day of your visit.

Keep the treated area clean and do not pick, peel off, ,rub, scratch or pull on the skin. Avoid washing the face and any strenuous exercise for 24 hours. For 1 week after treatment, avoid using products with retinoids, AHAs or BHAs until skin has completely healed. Do not use scrubs or abrasive cleansers. All peels may cause sensitivity to heat and sun for several days. Avoid intense heat and sun exposure by wearing protective clothing and sunscreen SPF >60+ Flaking and peeling may occur within the next 2 weeks, although it is not required to achieve optimal results. You may moisturize as needed, and stay hydrated throughout.
